The History of Sikk Skooters

Two people standing in front of a scooter repair shop named Sikk Skeeters, with a black sign above the entrance and a round sign on the side. The shop specializes in scooter repair and maintenance, established in 2011. One person has tattoos and glasses, and the other is smiling with glasses and tattoos. They are both wearing black shirts with the shop logo.

Sikk Skooters was created in 2011 when owners Erin and Andy split ways with a local Chinese scooter dealership and started their own mobile scooter repair business out of the back of their GMC Yukon. They spent years traveling around Los Angeles with their English Bulldog, Murdoc, meeting new people and fixing scooters along the way. Eventually they acquired a rather large garage and were able to start building their shop from that point on. After a few years of having the small shop that was appointment only they finally found the space they had always hoped for right here in Erins hometown of Lawndale. In 2021 Sikk Skooters moved into the space they occupy now and in 2024, after years of hard work and dedication they are proud to also be LA’s first independent pre owned scooter dealership.
